Shutter speed and Aperture.

Image
Fast Shutter Speed F/3.5 1/800s- This photo is an example of a fast shutter speed, the photo was tacken at 1/800s which when set to this shutter speed will freeze any object or person, by using this setting you can capture people jumping whilst they are in the air, also object being dropped from a height can be shot while in mid air. As the shutter speed is increased more faster objects can be captured without any blur. Such as sports where the subject is moving or jumping in the air. Slow Shutter speed F3.5 1/15s- The shutter speed for this photo has been set to a low setting, by doing this moving object will a blur on the photo almost like smoke. This can be good for photos of water as the water become soft and milky like. The person in the photo was walking and past and by focusing on the persona and moving with him, the background will be out of focus but the subject will remain in focus, this is known as paning.  Aperture  The Aperture on a ca

Technical Skills Being able to use a pin hole camera and then develop the light sensitive paper using chemicals in the dark room. Processes  Taking photos with long exspoures to then create a blur effect. The way this id done is by dialling done the shutter speed to below 1/60s, any shutter speed lower than this will start to blur and the more its set down the blur there will be. Tuesday Lesson 1 Dark Room

Materials pin hole camera  light sensitive paper  developer chemicals  Processes  The process to making and photogram starts with put a piece of light sensitive paper in the base of the  pin hole camera, but also making sure that when this is done that no light comes to contact with the paper otherwise it will expose the paper and then become not useable, after the paper has been exposed properly take the piece of paper in do a dark room place it in the three developer chemicals, this will then develop the photo the show the picture. This is known as a wet process.  Technical skills The skills learnt in this lesson is being able to use a pin hole camera, and also how to develop photos from light sensitive paper.
